How to Be
a MillionairePretend. Practice. Persist.

The whole method is three words. It's free because it should be. Takes five minutes to understand and the rest of your life to run.

01

Pretend

Tell yourself you're a millionaire. Today. Regardless of what's in the account, regardless of how the morning went, regardless of whether you feel like it.

People hear pretend and think fake. It isn't fake, it's a rehearsal. Every person who ever changed had to act like the new man before he felt like the new man.

Daily exercise. Write one page, present tense, describing an ordinary day in the life you want. Not the highlight reel — an ordinary Tuesday. What time you wake. What you eat. What you handle. What you don't worry about anymore.

There's a place to write it further down this page.

02

Practice

Act the way a wealthy person would act, in exactly the circumstances you're in right now. Not when the money comes. Now, with what's on the table today.

Live it. Breathe it. Walk in it.

Daily exercise. Pick one habit of wealthy people and do it today. One. Pay yourself first. Read the thing all the way through. Keep the appointment you made with yourself. Say no without a speech.

03

Persist

Do it again when it's boring. That's the secret, and it's not a secret — it's just unglamorous.

Consistency beats bursts of strength. A man who does one small thing every day for a year passes the man who does everything for a week, every single time.

Daily exercise. Choose one action and stick to it. Same one. Don't add a second until the first one feels like brushing your teeth.

One more thing, and it's the part people skip

Don't explain it. Don't announce it. Don't go telling everybody what you're becoming.

People resent ambition they didn't ask about, and you'll end up spending the energy defending the plan instead of running it. Let them find out from the results.

You don't become a millionaire. You remember you are one.

The exercise · step one

Write your ordinary day

Present tense, like it's already true. Answer what you can, skip what you can't, come back tomorrow and write it better.

This saves in your browser only, so you can close it and come back. It stays on your device — I never see it, and this site stores nothing.

This is step two. Make it small enough to actually do before you sleep.

Your page

Fill in what you can above and hit Build my page. Your ordinary day shows up here, ready to print and put where you'll see it.

Then go bet on yourself

The 27 is twenty-seven reps of exactly that. Pick one, name the action, set the deadline, sign the card when it's done.
